The patterns and color variations in a living tree are like all of nature—never repeated. Naturally occurring wood characteristics such as mineral streaks, knots, and variations in grain and color are not considered defects. Also, the color of your floor will change over time and with exposure to ultraviolet/natural light. As a result of these natural characteristics, the variation in electronically-viewed color representation, and the variations in printing, your newly installed Somerset floor will vary from samples or pictures shown.

Constructed with a solid 3mm thick solid sawn face, Somerset's Wide Plank Collection gives you the same beautiful appearance as traditional solid flooring. The 1/2" thick, 8-ply cross-grained construction adds greater dimensional stability, which is a key benefit for wider width planks. In addition, Wide Plank flooring is packaged in true random lengths up to 6-1/2'.

Somerset Wood Products is one of the largest manufacturers of Appalachian lumber and flooring in the midwest. Our corporate headquarters is located in Somerset, KY. We have two supporting production facilities, also located in the Somerset area, with a staff of over 300 employees. We also employ a full time forester, to oversee responsible forestry management practices that exceed Best Management Practice standards.
